Vintage matte gold twisted beads

These beads were made in Germany between 1919 and 1938. They are fat rondelles with a twisted pattern. The beads are 10 mm long and 12 mm wide. These beads need to be treated with care. They have been dipped in real gold and will chip easily. They are glass beneath. These beads are 90 years old and there are some nicks in the finish, commensurate with their age. There are 25 beads on a strand.
