Roman warrior intaglio clasp

Intaglios are among the most elegant and subtle of decorations. This clasp is no exception with its proud Roman warrior in a beautiful piece of blue glass. The centerpieces are all vintage. They were made sometime in the 1930s. The centerpiece is set in a hand-made sterling silver box clasp. The centerpiece is 20 mm in circumference and the clasp is 32 mm from ring to ring.

The intaglio is too pretty to be hidden in the back, so we also made a pendant style of the clasp. The clasp mechanism and ring are set at the top of the clasp, so the clasp will hang naturally in the front as a pendant would. The pendant is 22mm in circumference.
