Purple stripe kimono

Dark purple with lighter purple stripes are the overall design of this kimono, but a wonderful collar of lime green bamboo adds a punch of color to the front. In Japan, bamboo is a symbol of prosperity. The back is embellished with floating blocks of white with a few black ones thrown in for interest. In addition to the purple horizontal stripes, there is a delicate cross-hatch design woven into the silk that makes the whole garment shimmer. This kimono is super soft silk and is truly an exceptional piece. It is a vintage piece and has been professionally dry cleaned. It is fully lined with a gossamer white silk. It is in excellent condition. The kimono is 48 inches long and will fit most people.
