Murano turquoise and gold bracelet clasp

Turquoise, both natural and emulated, has been a popular stone across cultures and centuries. This vintage Murano glass piece is an elegant emulation from the 1940s. The real gold dust swirled in the glass stands in for the dark veins of actual turquoise. The turquoise color is more like the blue turquoise of the American West than the green turquoise of Tibet and Nepal. It is a beautiful piece of glass craftsmanship. The vintage centerpiece is bezel set in a sterling silver box clasp. The clasp is 17 mm from top to bottom and 28 mm from ring to ring.
