Description

Kantha cloth is 100 percent cotton and made by women from Bengal, India, who typically use old saris and cloth and layer them with kantha stitching to make a light blanket, throw, or bedspread. Here, the cloth has been hand-sewn into a vest. Each vest is different, so the vest you receive will be similar to this one, but by no means identical. Don't hesitate to call or email to see photos of each choice. Each vest is patchwork on one side and a solid piece of fabric on the other side. The edges of the vest are nicely finished with a contrasting fabric, adding to the complexity of the design. The vest finishes in stylish points in the front and has a straight hem across the back. The vest is 41 inches long to the point and 33 inches long to the straight back hem. It is 16 inches across the shoulder and the armhole is 10 inches. Hand wash and hang to dry. One size fits most.
