German faux turquoise clasp

This small clasp features a piece of vintage German glass from the 1950s. Although it was made to look like turquoise; to my mind it doesn't. Don't get me wrong, the color is wonderful -- that lovely blue turquoise of the Sleeping Beauty variety. It is the texture that is off. It is crinkly with silver highlights. The clasp is a beautiful color and the silver flecks highlight the silver of the clasp. The centerpiece is set in a hand-made sterling silver box clasp. The centerpiece is 15mm around and the clasp is 26 mm from ring to ring.
