Dramatic octopus pendant

Intelligent, shape shifting, and a master of disguise, the octopus has been been getting a lot of good press lately. In ancient Babylonian myths, the goddess Tiamat was closely associated with the octopus, embodying the raw force of feminine energy. This wonderful pendant is large enough to make a bold statement. It is 2 1/2 inches across at the widest point and 2 1/4 inches long at the longest. It is incredibly detailed, with each tentacle covered with texture. It is hand-made of sterling silver by some of the finest silversmiths in the world in Istanbul, Turkey. There are two loops in the back that are large enough to accommodate a large cord if you prefer or a chain of almost any size. It weighs over 3/4 of an ounce, so it is a substantial piece of silver.
