These beads were made in India in the late 1980s. They are a good replica of a traditional chevron, the African trading bead. Because these beads are all hand-made there is some variation in the size. They range in size from 15 mm from end to end to 20 mm from end to end. The widths vary from 14 mm to 12 mm. Generally the shorter beads are the wider beads. The hole size seems to be more standard with most beads accommodating up to a 3 mm cord. This bead has a smooth, shiny surface. Price is for 10 beads.
