Ancient carnelian necklace

An old piece of hand-drilled carnelian is the centerpiece of this necklace. The carnelian is 25 mm long. Fabulously large pieces of turquoise dance with large round deliciously uneven, hand-shaped carnelian beads. These carnelian are lighter in tone than the centerpiece and add a wonderful color contrast. Old silver beads are interspersed throughout and two hand-made Tibetan beads set with tiny pieces of turquoise add another design element.
