These freshwater pearls are a deep gray color. They are potato pearls that are shorter from hole to hole, 7 mm, and wider on the strand, 9 mm across. They have a nice luster. Some pearls within the strand are flat on the back, but many are not. There are some flashes of pink or purple, but I would not call these peacock. They are mostly gray, but with a nice luster and nacre. Each strand is 16 inches long and contains approximately 62 pearls.
